Cami Anderson, M.Ed., BCBA
Experienced and Educated Professional in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
Cami is the owner of Balanced Behavior Consulting. She earned a Bachelors degree in Special Education with an emphasis in severe and profound disabilities from the University of Utah and a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in ABA from Arizona State University. She is a former Special Education Teacher who now practices as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has experience working with adults who have a variety of disabilities and consults with Special Education Departments for local schools as well.She has more than 18 years experience working with individuals with a wide variety of exceptionalities.
In her free time, you can find Cami enjoying time with her husband and children. They enjoy baking together, movie nights, hiking and kayaking all over Utah. Cami is a parent and has experience as foster and adoptive parent as well. With that lived experience, she understands the complexities of balancing busy schedules, connecting with kids from hard places, coordinating care with providers, all while juggling day to day family life. Her personal journey includes caring for a son with a brain injury, which fuels her passion for supporting other families in finding and building their support networks.
Cami's lived experience and professional expertise converge to offer families not just therapy, but a partnership in navigating the complexities of special needs care. She is committed to helping each family create a balanced, joyful life while fostering essential connections and support.
